It is created to commemorate Spike Lee during the Mars Blackmon Era. This is a special Jordans Spizikes New York Knicks orange colorway. 2011 marked a year of revival for the New York Knicks; they kicked off their season by acquiring superstar Amare Stoudemire and later Carmelo Anthony. The Knicks then earned a place in the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2004 season. Unfortunately the Knicks were unable to get past the 1st round of the NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs. In order to celebrate the Knicks and the positive change within the organization Jordan Brand has introduced this pair of Air Jordan Spizike Knicks Orange edition.
